Trayicon GTK2 lazarus / 5-Lazarus Extra Components ---------------------------------------------------------------------- osvaldo-tcf · 2007-09-09 18:12 On installing/complation IDE: Error message: /opt/pascal/lazarus/components/opengl/gtk2x11/gdk2x.pas(1,1) Fatal: Can't find unit GTKProc used by WSGtk2TrayIcon What's wrong? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- felipemdc · 2007-09-09 21:42 you need to recompile lcl for gtk2 before using the trayicon ---------------------------------------------------------------------- osvaldo-tcf · 2007-09-09 22:13 Yes, i did it. I use this script: echo "inicio" svn up make clean all LCL_PLATFORM=gtk2 echo "fim" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- felipemdc · 2007-09-10 08:52 What version of fpc are you using? If you are using 2.1.x or superior, that fpc already comes with the gtk x11 units, and this creates an incompatibility with the same units located on lazarus/components/opengl/gtk2x11/ A solution would be opening the trayicon package, or the project using it, go to the compiler options and remove adding this path to the units search path. If you are using 2.0.4 then I don't know what is wrong. Try running the example program. It always works good here, and then do as in it to add a trayicon. Another things is that you don't actually need to install the package (and rebuild the ide) to use the trayicon. just adding the path to the source files on the compiler options is enougth. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Almindor · 2007-09-13 09:39 I had the same problem. Using 2.1.5/x64 (before 2.2.0 release) on AMD64 and Lazarus compiled directly for Gtk2 (LCL_PLATFORM="gtk2"). Couldn't get around it so I compiled it on 32bit version (where it worked) and used that.
