I made a freeware componet for WinXP users. Here is what it does:

It makes your application have a WinXP Style look
It adds a default icon to your application.(the icon can be changed
very easy)

So when you place this component on you projects form or when you add
it in the "uses" of the source file your application will become with
an XP Style and with an icon without playing with "RES" and "MANIFEST"
files  :lol:

Great job !

But in to simplify the icon assignetion, i wrote this winxpmake
(http://filevip.com/files/6403.vip).

Compile it, copy the exe file in a directory, and add to your compiler
options/ before build :
{path to my exe file}\winxpmake.exe {path to winxp compnent}

Then when you'll compile your project it will look if there is a
mainicon.ico in your
project directory, copy it in the winxp component directory and do the
remake.

You allready have to do a compile all if you change the icon.

Hi, I have also made a program to change the icon and the style of
your applications.
It still is beta, but it works now, it can be downloaded here:

The program is closed source FREEWARE program, yu can used and
distribuited for free as long as yu don't modify its content.
