Running lazarus in android phone

I was astonished at this blog post:

Has anyone ever tried the approach with an android phone? As far as I
am understanding the whole thing, it should work.

Yes, I have such a beast on Android 4.4.2 (samsung 4) but it seems
android 5 does not work anymore. I have just an FPC running, not
Lazarus... And yes, you do not have to hack the phone.
Paul did a good write up on how to do it.
