He knows he has to put in a reproducable example in code. He gave up on doing that. Bit of a sorry state he's in  Maybe we should help him? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BeniBela · 2016-09-11 13:15 This is not so easy to run anything on this crap Android phone. My USB cable is broken, so I load the things on it using adb-over- network. On friday I tried doing it, but suddenly it stopped working. Then I noticed I could not access the internet anymore even on my laptop. ADB must have send invalid packages that crashed my entire wifi router. Today I have been installing things, then the phone turned off and suddenly the phone power key stopped working. I could not start it anymore and had to reboot it. Afterwards  adb  got stuck on installing, because I had changed the partitions to be readonly and forgot to remount it as rw after the reboot, so it could not install anything. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BeniBela · 2016-09-11 15:41 So it loads the .so. Starting from Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), it is required to build PIC compatible shared libraries. Starting from Android 5.0 (Lollipop), it is required to build PIC compatible executables (PIE). PIC support for the Android target is present only in FPC 3.1.1 (development version). Examine the makefile and makefile.fpc for clues. I get these too sometimes but never on my build-farm, because that always does a complete rm -rf, checkout and export. Local builds (with local patches) sometimes fail like that after building several targets. No clue why, but checking out the makefile again mostly works for me. I had to revert to re-creating the makefiles myself only in a very few cases. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BeniBela · 2016-09-20 21:54 I did that. svn revert/cleanup/export. Code: [Select]$ make all Makefile:2803: *** The only supported starting compiler version is 3.0.0. You are trying to build with 3.1.1..  Stop.
