LAMW: PosRelativeToAnchor & PosRelativeToParent lazarus / 43-Android ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Handoko · 2016-07-17 09:43 Hello. Can anybody please tell me where I can find documentation/information about PosRelativeToAnchor and PosRelativeToParent. I tried to set different values and combinations for Anchor, PosRelativeToAnchor and PosRelativeToParent. And I guess I have hit the jackpot , now my jButton component is nowhere to be found on the screen, although I still can select it by using Object Inspector. Is it a bug or something I don't understand? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jmpessoa · 2016-07-17 16:33 Hello Handoko Quote...now my jButton component is nowhere to be found on the screen, although I still can select it by using Object Inspector. Try a trivial position to retrieve your button: Code: Pascal  [Select][+][-]window.onload = function(){var x1 = document.getElementById("main_content_section"); if (x1) { var x = document.getElementsByClassName("geshi");for (var i = 0; i  PosRelativeToAnchor = [] PosRelativeToParent = [rpCenterInParent]  Well, you can get some help from google, ex.: http://www.tutorialspoint.com/android/android_relative_layout.htm and, also, by "demos" projects... [Ok. Trial and error is also a learning [programming] method! good luck!  ] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Handoko · 2016-07-18 06:33 Quote from: jmpessoa on July 17, 2016, 06:33:54 pmTry a trivial position to retrieve your button: It's okay. I simply opened its backup. It always good to keep backups of working code. Thanks for the link. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tintinux · 2016-07-19 06:35 Hi I confirm this happens sometimes, the top or left propery is set to a very high value. Up to now I was not able to reproduce (otherwise I would have reported the bug) To correct,  there is a quicker way than restoring the backup. Select the component in the "components list" of the object inspector, change left or top values to something lower than width and height of the parent, whatever are the PosRelative properties, and it should make the object visible again.  Best regards
