sqlite or any other .so on android lazarus / 43-Android ---------------------------------------------------------------------- count · 2014-01-10 19:07 Hi! Is there any way to use libsqlite.so on  android with lazarus project? I tried to use standart sqldb component and added libsql3.so to apk -  but no luck. On sqlite.connected:=true;   - it says "can not load SQLite client library libsqlite3.so" If i try manual load - LoadLibrary('libsqlite3.so');   the result is "operating system call failed". Thanks for any help! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jmpessoa · 2014-01-10 20:25 Well, I got freetype..... see here: http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,21923.0.html Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2014-01-11 04:41 I don't think you can use SQLdb on Android yet. SQLite is part of Android core libraries, and it has APIs to use SQLite. You can use JNI for that (see androidlcl example). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- count · 2014-01-11 23:22 Leledumbo - JNI and sqlite as core lib - is not that interesting. Using custom .so - that is the target. But I think TSqliteJNIDataset is enough for my project now. jmpessoa - Thanks! interesting, but afaiu you use static load and I'm interested in dynamic.
