No scrolling in StringGrid lazarus / 43-Android ---------------------------------------------------------------------- polypress · 2013-09-06 10:31 The scrollbars in stringgrid do not work. They don't work with tscrollbox or tscrollbar either. I've tried TrackBar to scroll the grid but the trackbar.position doesn't follow the tracker - it stays at 0. Any ideas or solutions? They all work in win32 and wince. I've tried various ways around the problem, including TrackBar, but they don't work. All that does work is to monitor MouseDown on the form and use this to scroll with TopRow, but it's very fiddly, and not very satisfactory. Most bugs reported for android in the last six months haven't even been acknowledged. Felipe has mentioned that he hasn't the time, so unlikely in the near future. Please first search bugtracker for other scrolling bugs in android, it might be a general problem. As to bugs not being fixed in the past half year. Please remember that for all developers this (developing Lazarus or fpc) is not our paid job. We are all volunteers that develop mostly in our spare time, without external funding (except from the donations). Sometimes maintainers are just too busy doing other things (earning money for their boss). If fixing this is critical to you you can set a bounty on it.
