Image transparency in android?

Hi all,

Made a small test-app in windows 7 with a form, an image and a button.
The image was set to transparent and in Button1Click I added:

  Image1.Transparent := not Image1.Transparent;

and toggling transparency worked as expected.

Doing the same in an android app didn't work.

Am I doing something wrong or isn't it possible to use transparency in
android?

I would like to use an image like a needle to display waypoints along
gps-route

Does it work if it's transparent from the beginning? Could be just
repaint issue.

No, unfortunately not!

I think it is a missing feature, not yet implemented.
