Canvas.TextOut doesn't use Canvas.Font setting lazarus / 43-Android ---------------------------------------------------------------------- eMarc · 2012-09-20 09:13 Hello. When drawing text on a Canvas I found that it doesn't respect the Canvas.Font settings, concretely it doesn't change the Font size in a loop. QuoteCadena := 'ABCDEFG'; PosX := 100; PosY := 100;  for Tamanho := 20 to 30 do begin     PosY := PosY + 2 * Tamanho;     Imagen.Canvas.Font.Size := Tamanho;     Imagen.Canvas.Font.Color := clBlack;     Imagen.Canvas.Brush.Style := bsClear;     Imagen.Canvas.TextOut(PosX, PosY, Cadena); end; All the resulting lines share the same font size. ¿ Is there any alternative to write on a Canvas at different sizes ? or ¿ is there something I can do to correct this behavior ?. I use the last Lazarus 1.1 Daily snapshot. Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- eMarc · 2012-09-20 09:28 Well, never mind. On the Android device the strings are drawn at the desired size, it's only on the PC (nonandroidlcltest.lpi) that it doesn't change sizes. It's a little annoying for debug purposes not to be able to see the same screens at PC and Android devices, but the important thing is that it works on real Android devices. Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2012-09-20 09:31 It works here on Linux+Qt. Maybe you selected some old non-true type font. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- eMarc · 2012-09-20 11:24 Quote from: Blaazen on September 20, 2012, 11:31:20 amIt works here on Linux+Qt. Maybe you selected some old non-true type font. Thanks, I run Lazarus on Windows, that could be the problem (the True Type font I try at the moment is the System's Arial). But as long as CustomDrawn works correctly on Android I'm not concerned. I suppose it will improve on further releases.
