Calm down and read the whole thread.
That will save you time. Never panic when the answers are there.
Once you grasp the content of the thread, including the link, you can
implement it in hours.
(Although I do not know your skills level)
Proper reading skills always saves time. Never panic.
Patience speeds things up, usually.

p.s.: asking for more time with a valid foundation will be appeciated
by any decent manager, so don't be afraid. If it is homework we need
code and we won't rewrite the code, just give pointers to help you.
