Lazarus LAMW on Ubuntu 20.04 lazarus / 43-Android ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sketch · 2022-04-19 16:59 I've installed Lazarus + FPC + LAMW using fpcupdeluxe using stable for both FPC and Lazarus versions.  Additionally, I've installed android- ndk-r23b in my home directory.  I created a new GUI Android module project and went to Android Bridges and selected a button to place on the form.  It returns an error dialog: Error moving component jButton1:jButton And has a cancel button In Messages it reads: unit1.pas(12,35) Error: unit not found: AndroidWidget What am I doing wrong? These are the paths in the config: /usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk-amd64 /home/sketch/fpcupdeluxe-lamw/ccr/lamw-ant/apache-ant-1.10.12/bin /home/sketch/fpcupdeluxe-lamw/ccr/lamw-gradle/gradle-7.3.1 /home/sketch/android-ndk-r23b /home/sketch/Android/Sdk ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jmpessoa · 2022-04-19 18:06 Hi, sketch! unfortunately something went wrong in your installation.... Maybe you can get LAMW from here: https://github.com/jmpessoa/lazandroidmodulewizard/archive/refs/heads/ master.zip And replace on your LAMW system stuff.... Alternatively, you can try "LAMW Manage" https://github.com/dosza/LAMWManager-linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sketch · 2022-04-19 20:16 Thank you!  I installed using the LAMW Manager and it is working.  Now under the Android Virtual Device Manager when I select the Target as: Android 11 - API Level 30 Under CPU/ABI it shows No system images installed for this target. Where do I install system images so I can do Build APK and Run and it will give me a simulation?  Or do I need to connect an Android device for that to work? Thank you! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- WayneSherman · 2022-05-01 01:24 Quote from: sketch on April 19, 2022, 10:16:23 pmWhere do I install system images so I can do Build APK and Run and it will give me a simulation?  Or do I need to connect an Android device for that to work? You can compile and build the APK without a system image.  But if you want to test it on an emulator, you need to install a system image.  If you have sdkmanger command line program installed (for example, mine is in "~/android/sdk/cmdline-tools/tools/bin") you can list available emulator images: Code: Bash  [Select][+][-]window.onload = function(){var x1 = document.getElementById("main_content_section"); if (x1) { var x = document.getElementsByClassName("geshi");for (var i = 0; i ./sdkmanager --listYou can install one like this: Code: Bash  [Select][+][-]window.onload = function(){var x1 = document.getElementById("main_content_section"); if (x1) { var x = document.getElementsByClassName("geshi");for (var i = 0; i ./sdkmanager "emulator" "system-images;android-24;default;armeabi-v7a" For more info see this post: https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,40750.msg422459.h tml#msg422459 (you can also use Android Studio to install emulators and system images)
