Permission issue with jWebView?
lazarus / 43-Android

I'm testing a demo project installed via latest release of
lamw_manager
AppWebViewDemo1
C:\lamw_manager\LAMW\lazandroidmodulewizard\demos\GUI\AppWebViewDemo1
It consists of a jWebView component and has example code for
permissions:
AndroidModule1JNIPrompt(.....)
AndroidModule1RequestPermissionResult(.....)
But the demo fails to open my camera & microphone webpage
https://iotleaf.co.uk/test/browser/mic/index.html
This may be because of changes to Android security, see:
C:\lamw_manager\LAMW\sdk\platforms\android-29\data\api-versions.xml
Code: XML [Select][+][-]window.onload = function(){var x1 =
document.getElementById("main_content_section"); if (x1) { var x =
document.getElementsByClassName("geshi");for (var i = 0; i
I'm going through the source code now, I'm guessing changes might be
needed somewhere in the following files:
C:\lamw_manager\LAMW\lazandroidmodulewizard\android_bridges\laz_and_co
ntrols.pas
C:\lamw_manager\LAMW\lazandroidmodulewizard\android_bridges\and_jni_br
idge.pas
C:\lamw_manager\LAMW\lazandroidmodulewizard\android_bridges\androidwid
get.pas
This is what I have found from Android docs that may help understand
what is needed..
https://developer.android.com/reference/android/webkit/PermissionReque
st
Thanks,
Mike

Hi, Michael Collier!
Maybe you can get some "insight" from "AppCameraDemo" demo.....
(handling android permissions.....) and maybe you will need add some
new
permission to "Androidmanifest.xml" file, too.

Hi jmpessoa
I don't think the Camera demos will be of any use here, I already
tried them and they worked, the XML that is needed is this..
Code: Pascal [Select][+][-]window.onload = function(){var x1 =
document.getElementById("main_content_section"); if (x1) { var x =
document.getElementsByClassName("geshi");for (var i = 0; i
To re-produce this..
1) Open & build the WebView demo project:
C:\lamw_manager\LAMW\lazandroidmodulewizard\demos\GUI\AppWebViewDemo1
You will see the phone has permission for Camera and Microphone, (i.e.
debug messages popup in the application and you can also see the
permissions set in the Android phone settings for this app.)
2) Point App to this URL..
https://iotleaf.co.uk/test/browser/mic/index.html
and click the "request video" button, it will refuse to open Video or
Video & Audio
(Using Delphi I can open video).
