Error instaling bgracontrols 4.3.1.1 lazarus / 39-Graphics ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fafastrungen · 2016-12-27 17:38 Hi everyone. I'm trying to install bgracontrols but it is impossible. It took me 3 days with no positive result. I've installed bgrabitmap-master (latest version) with no problems, but when I try to install bgracontrols, I get this result: QuoteBUILD IDE: Exit code 512, Errors: 1 lazarus.pp (154,1) Error: Error while linking I'm using Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon 64-bit. I've tried everything, well, not really everything 'cos I couldn't make it installed, but almost everything. Any help will be appreciated. SOLVED: For all who needs help with this, libxtst-dev libraries must be installed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lainz · 2016-12-27 22:24 That seems an error building Lazarus not just installing bgracontrols. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mladen · 2017-08-04 13:39 I have the same error. Build IDE: Exit code 512, Errors: 1 lazarus.pp(154,1) Error: Error while linking No other messages . So cant determine the cause. And this only happens after i try to install bgra controlls ( I have tried many repeated installs and lazarus reinstallations and it didnt help) On windows 7 64 bit however it compiles just fine My OS is Linux mint mate 18.2 64 bit and Lazarus 1.6.4 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- balazsszekely · 2017-08-04 13:45 @Mladen 1. I can understand why libxtst is needed, because I added some input controls that depends on a third party package (that I included with the download to be sure to use the patched version, that I don't patched..). But I can't understand why libgl-dev is needed, bgracontrols don't have any opengl control. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- balazsszekely · 2017-08-04 15:41 Without libgl-dev I cannot install BGRAControls in my Kali Linux machine. I don't know if this issue BGRAControls or Lazarus related, but definitely BGRAControls triggers it(after I install BGRAControls and I want to rebuild the IDE). Apparently I'm not the only one who had this issue:  http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,3 6719.msg245064.html#msg245064 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lainz · 2017-08-04 18:17 Thanks for your input. I will check everything again, maybe there's a hidden dependency to opengl somewhere, that I must remove. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lainz · 2017-08-04 21:24 Maybe its Custom Drawn Package or the MouseAndKeyInput package. Else I don't get the OpenGL requeriment in the installation of BGRAControls. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mladen · 2017-08-14 06:29 Quote from: GetMem on August 04, 2017, 03:45:04 pm@Mladen 1. So it must be something else.
