TOpenPictureDialog Preview not working lazarus / 39-Graphics ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bernie61 · 2015-11-21 22:40 I tried compiling my app with Lazarus 1.4.4 (64 bits Debian) and Lazarus 1.2.4 (32 bits Debian) and I cannot configure the TOpenPictureDialog to preview the images that I select. No image is displayed, I tried with different image formats and the PictureDialog only shows the image size on the right, not the image itself. Adding offAutoPreview to Options does'nt change anything. If somebody knows how to display the picture in the preview area on the right of the TOpenPictureDialog please let me know about it. Thanks in advance, Bernie ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jurassic Pork · 2015-11-21 23:19 hello, no problem with jpg, png pictures under Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits with Lazarus 1.4.0 ( see attachment )  If you use Nautilus as File explorer, do you see picture on picture files when you use icons grid view with Nautilus ? Friendly, J.P ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bernie61 · 2015-11-22 00:55 Hi, I don't have Nautilus but Thunar (with XFCE) and Caja (with Mate), both show the pictures when I see icons. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bernie61 · 2015-11-22 23:30 I did some testing. If I compile my program with Lazarus in Lubuntu, it runs fine in Lubunt and also in Debian (it shows the preview in TOpenPictureDialog). It seems both Lazarus 1.24 and 1.4.4 have some issue when running in Debian. When I compile the program in Debian TOpenPicture dialog doesn't show the image preview. By the way, TOpenPicture dialog it also works well compiling in in OSX, using carbon.
