Looking for TImage Source Code

I need to find where is the code for the Timage component, to make a
modified component, based in that code.

I found the declarations for Timage class in “extctrls.pp”, but I
cannot find the source code for its functions.

In Delphi is easy, all is in a single file: “ExtCtrls.pas”.

Please somebody give me a tip, I'm a newbie in Lazarus.

If you scroll down in Extctrls.pp you'll find some include-lines.

The one you want is {$I customimage.inc}
So if you open customimage.inc you see what you are after.

B.T.W. you can use Alt+Upkey an the text customimage.inc to jump
directly to that source.

(Use Alt+Upkey to jump to declarations/files/variables and
Ctrl+Shift+Downkey if your cursor is on a declaration to jump to the
implementation. That way you can easily jump though the whole
FPC/Lazarus source)

So in your source set cursor on TImage. Press Alt+Upkey. You're on
TImage. Set the cursor on TCustomImage and press Alt+Upkey. Now you're
on TCustomImage. Goto a function you want (for example GetCanvas). Now
press Ctrl+Shift+Downkey and you're in customimage.inc directly in the
function GetCanvas.
