Read pixel size of an image file lazarus / 39-Graphics ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fatmonk · 2015-04-28 15:28 Is there an easy way to read the pixel size of an image file with Lazarus/fpc? I'm looking to display the actual WxH size of an image that has been selected and displayed in a scaled TImage component. Thanks, FM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- typo · 2015-04-28 18:01 If I understand your question, you want to know the real Width/Height of an image by its stretched image in a TImage component. The real size is given by Image1.Picture.Bitmap.Width, the relative size by Image1.Width. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fatmonk · 2015-04-29 08:10 Ah, OK. Now I feel like an idiot!  Image1.Picture.Bitmap.Width is exactly what I was looking for... for some reason I thought it would be a lot more difficult to get that info. Good ole Lazarus :-) -FM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- User137 · 2015-04-30 06:50 Image1.Picture.Width and .Height should give it in pixels too. Or if you don't have TImage at all, you can load image into memory to TPicture and check its Width and Height.
