TPicshow equivalent

Hello All,

Searching the forum does not bring up result, so therefore this
question:

I wonder if the TPicshow component (DelphiArea) is ported to Lazarus
or if there is an equivalent that can do transformations like TPicshow
can.
Or maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

I don't know if someone made it work with Lazarus.
Source code is available; licence allows porting to Lazarus, I guess.
I only quickly looked to sources, it looks fine.

Did you try to pass it through Delphi->Laz. convertor?

I added the sources to a package which I tried to import but that
comes up with errors.

What makes this difficult: I would need sources or a component that
does what TPicshow does but any sources or component will do. I would
need it to be crossplatform and I'm not sure if I have enough
knowledge of Freepascal/Lazarus to determine if porting those sources
would be the way to go. Maybe there are much better alternatives that
I don't know of..
