problem with wingraph

Hello,

sorry im very new here. I have the following problem. I want use
wingraph to create a control-drawing. Unfortunately my program
freezes. I use lazarus 1.0.6 with Freepascal 1.6.0

With Turbo delphi 2006 i have the same problem. So i think the trouble
is in my software design or it is a bug in wingraph.

I get the Wingraph screen, currently in windowed mode, but my program
freezes. Why?

I can't say anything on "wingraph". But there is also a "graph" unit
which comes along with fpc. Did you try the sample programs in the
folder "source\packages\graph\tests" of the fpc directory? If they are
working try to modify yours according to these files. But try to
understand these programs, they may not generate output although
everything is correct - this was my impression when playing with them
for this posting.

I did a search for "wingraph", and found this url:
http://math.ubbcluj.ro/~sberinde/wingraph/. The zip file contains the
old BGIDemo and it is running perfectly. Amazing! I am feeling 25
years younger...

Again the same advice as in the previous posting: run the demos, if
they work study the code and compare with your own code.

Your code might not work because you are using a non-standard
graphdriver. Try VGA first. If it works try the others until you find
one which comes close to your needs.

Hello! I often use the WinGraph unit and I never noticed any bug. If
you are interested, you can have a look at my chess program: it can be
compiled both with FPC and Delphi 7.

I don't see clearly what you want to do. Could you post all your code?

There never was a Free Pascal 1.6.0  The versioning jumped from 1.0
(stable) and 1.1 (trunk) to 1.9 ( fixes_2_0 branch before release) to
2.0
