Missing the file GRLIB.INC lazarus / 39-Graphics ---------------------------------------------------------------------- FingerBuckley · 2014-06-20 14:36 Hey all, I'm new to programming in Pascal (not new to programming in general) and I am running into a problem.  All of my compiler errors are something like "identifier not found 'Graphics'", which I found out is because I was missing the "uses" statement.  I typed that in and got rid of a lot of the missing unit errors, but I'm still having issues with the missing identifiers: Graphics, ginit, DefineScreen, Frame, ViewPort, MoveLine, DrawLine, DefineScreen, and Frame.  Apparently these identifiers aren't in Crt or Graph. I included the line {$I GRLIB.INC} which I'm pretty sure will fix all this (is that correct?) but my compiler (Free Pascal) returns the error "Can't open include file "GRLIB.INC"", which I assume is missing in my directories.  Would anyone be willing to help me find out where I can acquire this include file? Thanks for reading! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- taazz · 2014-06-20 14:45 grlib.inc is not part of my 2 lazarus installtion 1.0.14 and 1.2.0. How did you come up with that idea in the first place? usually when I want to know where something is declared I either open the help for it or do a "search in files" to find it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2014-06-20 16:33 QuoteI included the line {$I GRLIB.INC} which I'm pretty sure will fix all this (is that correct?)Certainly no. You better explain what you want to do and from whatever source you have, what units does it require? Blindly typing identifiers won't help, if you don't have any idea where those identifiers should be. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- FingerBuckley · 2014-06-21 00:20 Hey guys, Thanks for the replies!  And ya, total newb move on my part, that include file was written by a user who was using it locally on his machine.  Not part of any standard libs or anything like that.  I'm just gonna use the Graph lib identifiers to take care of the plotting.  Sorry to waste your time !
