aggpas and brushstyle bsFDiagonal lazarus / 39-Graphics ---------------------------------------------------------------------- K.Bleijenberg · 2014-01-22 20:57 I've converted a command line Delphi program to Lazarus, using aggpas. Everything works fine. The only thing left is drawing with brushstyle  bsFDiagonal or  bsBDiagonal, In the program I use Agg2D objects and I don't want dependency's on X11 or GDI. Do I have to draw the brush lines myself or.... Kees ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Graeme · 2014-01-23 14:01 No you don't have to draw the diagonal lines yourself. Take a look at the AggPas demos - one of them uses images, patterns etc as a brush style or even line style (the demos screenshot has a lot of lines made from chain links etc.) The demos are pretty useful. ps:   Not sure what copy of AggPas you use, but as far as I'm aware the AggPas included in fpGUI's repository (/src/corelib/render/software/) is the most up to date and with many fixes etc. That AggPas directory is slightly restructured (mostly the demos), but can still be used stand-alone without any toolkit dependencies. In the repository, I have also include lots of collected AGG & AggPas documentation (/docs/aggpas/) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Graeme · 2014-01-23 14:43 Also take a look at the pattern fill demo. Description from the demo: QuotePattern_fill. The example demonstrates how to use arbitrary images as fill patterns. This span generator is very simple, so, it doesn't allow you to apply arbitrary transformations to the pattern, i.e., it cannot be used as a texturing tool. But it works pretty fast and can be useful in some applications.
