I m looking for a 3D component lazarus / 39-Graphics ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Emmanuel · 2013-10-01 18:31 I m looking for a 3D component in order to plot in 3D :  points, lines, polygones  and surfaces (TIN Surface) do you know if there is such component avalaible in Lazarus ? thank you for your help ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wp · 2013-10-01 19:06 As far as I know there are no 3D plotting capabilitities for Lazarus. TAChart is 2D only with some extensions for contour plotting (search this forum) or color maps (http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/TAChart_ Tutorial:_ColorMapSeries,_Zooming). TeeChart from Delphi is being adapted to Lazarus (http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topi c,21690.msg127525.html#msg127525), but this is a commercial product and requires a separate installation because of the naming conflicts with TAChart. Alternatively, you can call gnuplot from Lazarus, grab its output and show it within a Lazarus window. I once did this for a complex contour plot, but for 3D you'll miss the interactivity for selecting the viewpoint etc. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- zamtmn · 2013-10-01 19:24 http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,16665.0.html support points, lines, polygones. surfaces not support. There's no separate component, but there is an example to use in other program ---------------------------------------------------------------------- macmike · 2013-10-01 20:05 I once wrote a raytracing component for Delphi - I've been planning to get around to releasing it for Lazarus (open source) but haven't done so yet. Probably do so in a few months or so... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jamhitz · 2013-10-01 21:12 Will these help?: http://wiki.freepascal.org/GLScenehttp://wiki.freepascal.org/Castle_Ga me_Engine
