To plot X,Y points using appropriate component

I am  a new Lazarus user. I started a program where I need to use a
graph in order to plot X,Y points linked by a segment line. I know
that in Lazarus there is specific components to do that (Chart), but I
m a little bit confuse with this component. Can you tell me if there
is any examples (I mean code source) using chart component in order to
understand how it's work and plot my points on a graph. Thank you for
your help.
