How to remove the gap between bars and the horizontal axis? lazarus / 39-Graphics ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JD · 2013-04-29 15:46 Hi there everyone, Can anyone (I know Ask can do it  ) show me how to remove the gap between the base of the bars at zero and the horizontal axis as shown in the image below? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wp · 2013-04-29 16:09 Use Chart.Margin accordingly. See also http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/TAChart_Tutor ial:_Userdefined_ChartSource on how to avoid drawing the grid lines on top of the axis line. Chart.Margin only moves the bar chart horizontally, I assume to create space for giving the left axis a title. What I want is to make the base of the bars touch the bottom axis. That is moving the bars vertically. I haven't found a property that puts the zero value on to the left axis on the bottom axis. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wp · 2013-04-29 21:13 Sorry I don't understand, but Chart.Margins.Bottom := 0 does move the zero of the y axis down to the x axis, and there is no more gap between the bottom of the bars and the x axis. Isn't that what you want to achieve? (Sorry for speaking of "Margin" instead of "Margins" in the first answer - but does "Margin" exist at all?) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JD · 2013-04-30 12:19 @wp Chart.Margins.Bottom = 0 does what I want. Thanks a lot. JD
