[SOLVED] Problems with Vampyre Imaging Library on Mageia 2 lazarus / 39-Graphics ---------------------------------------------------------------------- cybermonkey342 · 2012-10-20 14:53 I recently bought a new computer and installed Mageia 2 64-bit as my Linux operating system. Now I wanted to compile my programs from my old computer (SDL-based) and got the following error: Quote/usr/bin/ld: libopenjpeglinx86_64.a(tcd.o): undefined reference to symbol 'ceilf@@GLIBC_2.2.5' /usr/bin/ld: note: 'ceilf@@GLIBC_2.2.5' is defined in DSO /lib64/libm.so.6 so try adding it to the linker command line /lib64/libm.so.6: could not read symbols: Invalid operationAny ideas to solve the problem? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JD · 2012-10-20 20:56 Does this belong here? What has Lazarus got to do with this or am I missing something? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2012-10-20 21:35 IMO it belongs here. Vampyre is graphic library for freepascal. http://imaginglib.sourceforge.net/index.php?page=down It has a *.lpk in sources but some time ago I also had problem during compiling. But of other reasons than OP. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- cybermonkey342 · 2012-10-21 18:40 Sorry for the confusion. I had to say that I am using Freepascal 2.6.0 (64 bit) and Lazarus 1.0.2. Yes, Vampyre Imaging Library is for Freepascal/Lazarus for easy loading bitmap files of different formats. I am using it instead of SDL_image to decrease dependencies. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- cybermonkey342 · 2012-10-23 12:42 Okay, I can solve it now thanks to the other thread on PGD. Just add Code: [Select]{$LINKLIB m}to the unit which uses Vampyre Imaging.
