AggPas text?

I'm just trying out the demo:

/Developer/lazarus/components/aggpas/example/AggPasInLCLDemo1.lpi

This looks like a fantastic unit. However, I can't get text to
display. Does anyone know if this is working?

It is indeed somewhat problematic.
You can see at aggpas demo from the TAChart package
for a working example.

I tried out the TAChart aggpas demo as you suggested, the text output
does seem to be broken. I'm looking for a graphics package for a
couple of projects, and AggPas seemed very promising, but text support
is essential.

I'll file a bug report and see what happens.

I tried compiling the AggPas demos with no luck. I get a bunch of
errors:

Code: [Select]PPU Loading ./upi/Carbon.ppu
PPU Invalid Version 78
Fatal: Can't find unit Carbon used by agg_platform_support
Fatal: Compilation aborted

In any case, I'd still need AggPas to work in Lazarus for the gui
front end. The samples on the web pages are amazing, I'd like to jump
in and start using it, but am concerned that the text output is not
working.

Thanks mica,

I did figure it might be an Intel vs PPC thing, but it is puzzling. My
installed FPC is i386, and I've compiled Lazarus for i386. I'll futz
with it  and try to make it work.

This is most probably a MacOS-specific problem.
agg_fpimage has IFDEFs for BSD and Linux, but not for MacOS.
