Component with custom shape And Drag event

I'm making a component with the TCustomControl. I want it to take the
shape of a transparent bitmap (or png). i haven't found something on
that, except something about SetShape and TRegion.
Also found that I could use TWinControl with SetShape(TRegion).
I haven't been able to make any of these work.
Has anybody tried such a thing? How can I do it?

I'm also trying to add the drag event. I added in it's constructor
this:
'DragMode:=dmAutomatic; ' but I guess I'l have to add and something
else. How can I make it work?
