Getting the right color code match lazarus / 39-Graphics ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ryanlaw · 2011-01-03 20:37 Can anyone think of an easier way to match an existing color code (html code).  I use gimp and coming really close but trying to match a sidebar color which originally was in a .gif image template. Any ideas would be appreciated ....have thought about cropping a section of the gif and trying to use it to fill a background but would rather fill the background using the actual color. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- typo · 2011-01-03 20:46 Try this tool: http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,11328.0.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ryanlaw · 2011-01-03 21:09 Quote from: typo on January 03, 2011, 09:46:54 pmTry this tool: http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,11328.0.html That was fast ... thanks will check it out. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- User137 · 2011-01-03 23:29 How do you mean "coming really close" with Gimp? Something is really wrong if it doesn't match, maybe browser using different gamma level or something. You can always take a printscreen screenshot if not opening original image, then reading the pixel color from cursor. MsPaint can do it too but it only shows rgb in 255,255,255 format which would need a calculator or something to convert to hex. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- typo · 2011-01-06 15:59 Our own version of the tool is here: http://www.lazarusbrasil.org/GetColor.zip
