Roland's Text Calendar in English: For the New Year lazarus / 39-Graphics ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Boleeman · 2026-01-01 13:19 Found Roland's French version of Text Calendar on GitHub and changed it to English. Many thanks to Roland for that handy Lazarus source on GitHub. Happy New Year to All. PS: Fixed a few small conversion entries ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Roland57 · 2026-01-01 13:35 Thank you for the translation.  I believe you found the program here? To set Monday as first day of the week, change the following line in the INI file: Code: Text  [Select][+][-]window.onload = function(){var x1 = document.getElementById("main_content_section"); if (x1) { var x = document.getElementsByClassName("geshi");for (var i = 0; i mondayfirst=0 Or change the default value of the variable in calendar.pas: Code: Pascal  [Select][+][-]window.onload = function(){var x1 = document.getElementById("main_content_section"); if (x1) { var x = document.getElementsByClassName("geshi");for (var i = 0; i var  LMondayFirst: boolean = FALSE; ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Boleeman · 2026-01-01 14:27 Thanks Roland for helping out. Yes that is where I found it, while looking for your ball collisions project. For the Monday set first fix: I tried both of your suggestions but I  kept getting Sunday first. Then I tried this in the Text Calendar.ini and it worked. [options] mondayfirst=1 colcount=6 Thanks Roland for making the program. PS I missed a few little conversion errors, so here is an update for English version. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Roland57 · 2026-01-01 19:50 @Boleeman I pushed your translation. Thank you. And thank you also for the nice screenshots. Out of curiosity, how did you make the beveled picture? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Boleeman · 2026-01-01 23:57 Thank you Roland for making such a handy program available. I thought being the New Year people here might enjoy making their own calendars for the New Year (hopefully you did not mind me translating it?). Normally I would rely on free calendars from local shops, but now I can make my own. The bevels were made with my own bevel maker (I will attach it below). I checked the darken checkbox when I used it to darken the edges (If you have a black canvas then you need to lighten) I print screened your calendar and pasted in MSPaint. Then used a Lazarus image viewer (Lazzy attached below) program to sharpen the text. (Lazzy also has some good filters: blur effects, emboss, edges as well as sharpen) I beveled the edges with my bevel program and used MS Paint3D to apply the colour and lighting and saved with transparency.. Lastly I used Lazzy to swap the colour channels to make different colours. The end calendar result was quite amazingly clear.  Bonjour Roland. My surname BOLE comes from the French word of a ring that forms when a branch of a tree is cut so I have some French genes from many years (great Grandfather). My father and grandfather both worked with wood!
