I think the problem is that the examples use Arial font to show text. May be this font is not present on your system ? In any case, to avoid this problem, i've rewrited all examples with a font (Roboto) provided with the library. Please, delete your current version of OGLCScene and download the lastest v2.3 at https://github.com/Lulu04/OGLCScene/releases/tag/v2.3 I have a Windows 10 machine and all work fine here. I hope all will be fine for you too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Paolo · 2026-01-01 01:37 thanks, I'll try. PS: I have Arial. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Paolo · 2026-01-01 11:48 changed package  to v2.3, but still nothng on the screen ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Paolo · 2026-01-01 11:50 black screen ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Boleeman · 2026-01-01 13:05 Happy New Year Lulu. Your Happy New Year animation renders fine on my laptop computer. Took a little while to begin the render. Love the reflection at the bottom. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lulu · 2026-01-01 15:24 @Paolo I'm sorry for the problem you have... Please, with Lazarus open the demo 03-SceneLayers. In source editor, select unit 'form_main'. Press F11 to show the object Inspector, at the top select the first line 'FormMain: TFormMain'. Click on the tab Events, search the event OnShow, select it then click on the '...' -> this will create the 'TFormMain.FormShow(Sender: TObject)' method. In this method, add: Code: Pascal  [Select][+][-]window.onload = function(){var x1 = document.getElementById("main_content_section"); if (x1) { var x = document.getElementsByClassName("geshi");for (var i = 0; i procedure TFormMain.FormShow(Sender: TObject);begin  if not FScene.OpenGLLibLoaded then    ShowMessage('ERROR: OpenGL library could not be loaded...'+LineEnding+        'Check if your system is compatible with OpenGL 3.3 core'+LineEnding+        'and if the library is well installed on your computer');end;  Compile and run the demo: Is the error message displayed? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lulu · 2026-01-01 16:12 Quote from: Boleeman on January 01, 2026, 02:05:37 pmHappy New Year Lulu. Your Happy New Year animation renders fine on my laptop computer. Took a little while to begin the render. Love the reflection at the bottom. Happy new year Boleeman, I'm happy the demo work well. The wait time before the render is because graphics are loaded from svg file and compacted into a single atlas. The reflection shader is a transformed version from https://gamedev.stackexchange.com/questions/90592/how-to-implement- this-kind-of-ripples-with-a-glsl-fragment-shader ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Paolo · 2026-01-01 18:13 ok, the error was reported. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lulu · 2026-01-01 19:26 @Paolo So, OpenGl 3.3 library can't be loaded. I'm not an expert, but may be that means your graphic card is not compatible with OpenGL 3.3 and you can not use OGLCScene. I'm sorry. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Paolo · 2026-01-01 20:53 It is a very old PC, I'll try another one and I 'll report, many thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Boleeman · 2026-01-02 00:14 Paolo, I used the pl_OpenGL Pixologic OpenGL from OPM (Open Package manager) as shown in the attached png. Perhaps go to Package, Open Package Manager and install pl_OpenGL (have a look at the png shown below) I have OpenGL programs running on a old laptop so it should work. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Paolo · 2026-01-02 11:03 still the same, see picture ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lulu · 2026-01-02 19:23 @Boleeman OGLScene use the feature of OpenGL 3.3 core. We can say this is a modern way to use OpenGL and it is no more compatible with the legacy mode. https://wikis.khronos.org/opengl/Legacy_OpenGL I think the graphic card of the old machine of Paolo is only compatible with the legacy mode. The problem is not about the software, but about the hardware. The first version of OGLCScene used the legacy mode. This mode don't work on some modern machine (newest MacOS), that's why I rewrote it with OpenGL 3 features and droped the old code because maintaining both version is to much work for me.
