A Rotating Tubed Flower Pattern

I could not get the pattern to rotate smoothly.
It's rotating in a staggered fashion.

I also tried using DateUtils and procedure ApplicationIdle(Sender:
TObject; var Done: Boolean); but the rotation motion is still a bit
staggered.

Not sure if anyone knows how to make the rotation a bit more smooth?
Problem is that it is rendering lots of curves (I think?)
