Help with getting form.canvas working [SOLVED]

Can anyone help with getting form.canvas working please?
I am creating a form, and drawing graphics onto the form canvas, but I
can't get it to work correctly.
The problem I have is with getting the graphics to display on the
form. The documentation says to draw the graphics in the Onpaint event
handler, but that does not work for me until the form is resized. The
graphics only show when the form is resized.
Can anyone help with an explanation or example fixed/working code?
I have attached an example project that shows the problem.

When you want it to draw, call the forms 'Invalidate' method...
