Which control for writing a image editor? lazarus / 39-Graphics ---------------------------------------------------------------------- knuckles · 2024-10-06 07:48 Hi, I need to write a image editor as part of my project. I think GR32 may be what I need but don't know how I should get started (never really used it, and the documentation I could not see it give a basic overview of what control is suited best to what need). TPaintBox32 TImage32 TImageView32 (Use this one?) Also there is TBitmapLayer class? I need to implement for example: Load/Save (bitmap, png etc) Layers Effects (Brightness, Contrast, HUE etc) Paint on the layers (opacity, different brushes, erase tool) Select tools But don't know where to begin, which control/class to use etc? Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- cdbc · 2024-10-06 08:33 Hi Sounds like you need 'BGRABitmap' package available in 'OPM'.
