Draw Diagonal Arcs: Variable Bends and Placements

Here is a sample program that draws 4 Diagonal Arc Orientations with
variable bends, on a TPaintbox.

The diagonal Arcs are slightly more bent in some directions (not
symmetrical) and the ends are not always stationary when the bend
amount is varied.

Is there a way to do something similar that uses PolyBezier curves
that does symmetrical bends, where the ends are always stationary when
the bend amount changes? 

(sort of like a Bow and Arrow Curve where the bow is bent equally from
the center)

The last attached png picture describes the diagonal symmetrical bow
curve that I wanted to create.
