Converted this from my old VB6 version to Lazarus.
(See my Vb6 version here to see what patterns it can make:

Can select sides and circles to be seen to create nice line patterns.

Sorry, found a small error with changing colors so I have re uploaded.

For some reason I cannot have the Tcolorbuttons on top of the
TCheckGroup so I put them in front for now.

Here is a slightly reworked version of Boleeman's excellent square
fractals.

  + I've changed the UI a little;
  + it supports resizing and draws using the Paint procedure;
  + it draws on a "normal" canvas.

Nice to see the "speter version" with the resizing. A sample of the
speter version below. Thanks speter.

Stare intensely into the pattern below (focusing on the whole picture)
and you will see intermittent squares and triangles.

Also a level 7 (squares only) one as well.
