TFPHTTPServer and absolute root dir / Windows lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- krzynio · 2021-01-15 10:09 Hi! I creted simple HTTP Server using this tutorial: https://www.freepascal.org/~michael/articles/webserver1/webserver1.pdf Program is working but it works only if the root directory is in the same folder as exe file. How can I setup root directory outside of the application folder? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- egsuh · 2021-01-15 10:16 It doesn't work on Windows. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Soner · 2021-01-15 12:04 I made bugreport and bugfix for this issue. But can't find it now. I had bad experience with TFPHTTPServer on Windows, it hangs after some days. Look at my topics here. I switched to Indy HTTPServer and my indyhttpserver is working since 3 months without errors. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- PascalDragon · 2021-01-15 12:08 Quote from: krzynio on January 15, 2021, 11:09:55 amI creted simple HTTP Server using this tutorial: https://www.freepascal.org/~michael/articles/webserver1/webserver1.pdf Program is working but it works only if the root directory is in the same folder as exe file. How can I setup root directory outside of the application folder? That was fixed in trunk in November and has been merged to 3.2.1, so 3.2.2 will work correctly. So better report such things on the mailing list or the bug tracker. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- egsuh · 2021-01-18 13:28 QuoteThe main dev of TFPHTTPServer (MvC) does not frequent the forums often Are they working on FCGI as well? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- PascalDragon · 2021-01-19 08:09 Quote from: egsuh on January 18, 2021, 02:28:40 pmQuoteThe main dev of TFPHTTPServer (MvC) does not frequent the forums often Are they working on FCGI as well?
