Synapse and Terminating Connections

In my application I am running a TCP link using Synapse.  When I want
to close the link I call TCPSocket.Close but when I do that it seems
like it does not close the link cleanly as the server end always
throws a "Connection Reset by Peer" error which from what I understand
means that the end that terminated the link did not send the correct
"I am closing" messages and it just pulled the plug.  What it the
correct way to close the link so the client closes the link cleanly as
to not get the server side error?
