I switched my net package to Synapse, but I used the Lnet before. So I need the the most simple tutorial to set Synapse TCP connection. (I'm not a master of programming, mainly of net-programming). Others: -A too long time ago I tried it but it was hard and I left it for Lnet but Lnet now seems bad. -What is the bind command? -Can I set more connection between two device/program than 1? and I want to use them to categorize the data easyer. Please take a look at the following example:  https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,48677.0.html Basically all your requirement is implemented(send/receive message, streams, files, etc..). After you download the zip, look in the "Common", search for utcpsockets.pas. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lucamar · 2020-05-13 06:42 There are more examples, etc. in the Synapse/Synaser website. Though a little old they are still mostly valid. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- balazsszekely · 2020-05-13 07:29 @lucamar AFAIK there is no TCP/IP Client/Server example on Synapse/Synaser website(I might be wrong though). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rvk · 2020-05-13 07:38 Quote from: GetMem on May 13, 2020, 09:29:10 am@lucamar AFAIK there is no TCP/IP Client/Server example on Synapse/Synaser website(I might be wrong though). There is. If you download version 40 zip (not trunk/svn but the .zip) you get a demo directory in source-folder. The TCPclient/server is there. There is also the wiki page there with some examples (but the tcp examples are in the zip). http://synapse.ararat.cz/doku.php/public:howto ---------------------------------------------------------------------- balazsszekely · 2020-05-13 08:05 @rvk Thanks. I didn't know about the demo folder. I guess the EchoSrv(Echo folder) is the closest to what OP is trying to achieve.
