HTPPS Problems lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JLWest · 2019-11-09 17:59 I'm missing something at line 32. Don't know what it is? Can Someone take a look. Thanks. Now I get the following error. uses   Classes, SysUtils, Forms, Controls, Graphics, Dialogs, StdCtrls,   StrUtils, opensslsockets;      // fpopenssl,  openssl;             Compile Project, Target: ReverseGeoCodeDemo.exe: Exit code 1, Errors: 1 unit1.pas(9,13) Fatal: Cannot find opensslsockets used by Unit1 of the Project Inspector. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thaddy · 2019-11-09 18:37 you still need fpopenssl.....but not openssl, but opensslsockets. These things are different, you removed too much! I ran into that while testing some code by Marcus Fernström here: https://medium.com/@marcusfernstrm/create-rest-apis-with- freepascal-441e4aa447b7 this week and wanted to use that code on a real https connection. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JLWest · 2019-11-09 18:52 My use clause looks like this and I'm getting. Does this mean I don't have opensslsockets loaded? Compile Project, Target: ReverseGeoCodeDemo.exe: Exit code 1, Errors: 1 unit1.pas(9,13) Fatal: Cannot find opensslsockets used by Unit1 of the Project Inspector. uses   Classes, SysUtils, Forms, Controls, Graphics, Dialogs, StdCtrls,   StrUtils, opensslsockets, fpopenssl; //  openssl; ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thaddy · 2019-11-09 19:09 Did you read my remark about fpc version 3.2.0? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JLWest · 2019-11-09 19:21 Yes I did. "depends on version: from 3.2.0 onwards you will need to add opensslsockets instead of openssl.." I assumed that meant add opensslsockets to the use clause in the unit1 of my project. Am I wrong and it has to be added to as a .LDK
