Multicast cmd line test tool lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sporer@sctn.de · 2019-10-31 13:56 I had to write a cmd line tool to verify multicast connectivity in a routed network. It consists of MC_CL.lpr that sends out MC on a given adress and port and one or more MC_SV.lpr instances on different hosts that listen to the MC and echo back a response that is displayed by the MC_CL. MC_CL is for Windows, MC_SV for Raspbian. Perhaps it's useful for someone. Cheers Sporex ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sporer@sctn.de · 2019-10-31 14:02 I forgot to mention that it has to be compiled with the Ararat Synapse library. But I have to add a question from my side: This code is tested in a local LAN (broadcast domaine): Could there be any pitfall when using it in a routed network, i.e. when different subnets are involved? Thank you.
