fphttpclient and openssl lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kjteng · 2019-09-04 02:34 When do I need to add fpopenssl and openssl to the uses clause (I am using fphttpclient) ? WIKI example below says we have to call InitSSLInterface and also add fpopenssl and openssl as show below. But I found that without these, the code still works. Very curious. Code: Pascal  [Select][+][-]window.onload = function(){var x1 = document.getElementById("main_content_section"); if (x1) { var x = document.getElementsByClassName("geshi");for (var i = 0; i uses  classes,   fphttpclient,  fpopenssl,  openssl; var  Client: TFPHttpClient; begin   { SSL initialization has to be done by hand here }  InitSSLInterface;   Client := TFPHttpClient.Create(nil);  try    { Allow redirections }    Client.AllowRedirect := true;    writeln(Client.Get('https://google.com/'));   finally    Client.Free;  end;end. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thaddy · 2019-09-04 06:42 3.2 and higher does not need it anymore, I understand. (I think I wrote that snippet for 3.0.0 I believe, or a similar mind wrote it) I can't adapt the wiki too much yet, because 3.2 is not released yet, but I will add a remark.
