Check synapse version

Hi, I'm new here and in Lazarus too.

I use very useful Brazilian components (AcBR) and I really need them.
Today I installed synapse 4.01 from the package manager online and
then started an error in the AcBRMail build.

The error is TSMTPSend.DeliveryStatusNotification does not exist. I
believe this property was moved to another location, but I did not
find the new location. I have two questions:

1) You can check the synapse version for buil conditions like:
{$ IFDEF SYNAPSE401}
    fSMTP.NewLocalDeliveryStatusNotification: = ...
{$ ELSEIF}
    fSMTP.DeliveryStatusNotification: = [dsnSucecess, dsnFailure];
{$ ENDIF}

2) Do you know where TSMTPSend.DeliveryStatusNotification is in
version 4.01 +?

Uninstall synapse and install laz_synapse.lpk from acbr trunk.

Tks, but I'd like to use a newer version of Synapse. Synapse acbr is
an old fork.

Because TSMTPSend.DeliveryStatusNotification was never part of the
Ararat Synapase implementation.
Maybe AcBR has some modified version.

Had a look and it indeed seems that ACBr has a modified smtpsend
version.

Below is from the trunk of ACBr.
There are lots of changes so why do you want to use the standard
synapse???

AcBR version.

Seeing that the AcBR version is newer and better maintained it really
isn't that unfortunate
