Synapse THttpSend unusuall behaviour lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- djdjdjole · 2016-11-08 11:10 I am using THTTpSend (Synapse) class for client/server communication (at the moment they are at the same PC). There are two variables of that class- first is used inside thread (acquiring data from server every 30 sec) and the other one, occasionally- upon operater request (acquire data not related to previously mentioned). At my PC (Windows 7) and at job (Windows 10), everything is OK. However when I installed client and server at third location (Windows 7) first THTTpSend variable (related to thread) does the job, but the other one (related to operater request) even don't try to connect to server (socket error 10054). I also noticed that thread data (timer -30sec) at "problematic" PC, sometimes come after 50sec. Maybe that problem has the same roots as above one, because transfer is also done using THTTpSend variable. Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2016-11-08 15:59 10054 is "connection reset by peer" meaning the target server closes your connection. Too many reasons but you should check the server and its configurations first.
