Kitto porting lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- xinyiman · 2016-08-31 11:42 Hello guys, as the raudus project seems to be dead. The ExtPascal project as well and looking a bit 'around there seems to be nothing to lazarus I found this. Kitto was released as open source. Someone has already tried to do the porting? http://www.ethea.it/kitto.asp ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mig-31 · 2016-08-31 12:13 What is OpenSource licence: GPL, LGPL, MIT, Apache? Can we fork it? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- xinyiman · 2016-08-31 12:48 Quote from: mig-31 on August 31, 2016, 02:13:39 pmWhat is OpenSource licence: GPL, LGPL, MIT, Apache? But I can't find a word about which is the licence of "Open Source Kitto". Neither on the main site, nor on their github site. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- xinyiman · 2016-08-31 13:48 Quote from: Zoran on August 31, 2016, 03:13:24 pmThey say QuoteKitto is Open-Source on Git-Hub We have released the full source code of the Kitto Engine under an Open Source license, ... But, as we now know that it has a permissive licence, you can try to port it! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- xinyiman · 2016-09-01 09:43 I could also give my contribution. But I need help. Also because I would not know exactly where to start. It could become something very useful ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zoran · 2016-09-01 12:33 Quote from: xinyiman on September 01, 2016, 11:43:21 amI could also give my contribution. But I need help. Also because I would not know exactly where to start. It could become something very useful I don't know much about web programming at all. I hope someone will join your effort. Look in their discussion group, about a year ago someone said he would port to Lazarus (but then no more seems to be heard about it since), see: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/kitto-discuss/R-IxaFL1IYc Just to mention, I found they have a nice wiki - https://github.com/nandod/kitto/wiki
