[SOLVED] Problems installing the WebServiceToolkit 0.61 lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MichaelBM · 2016-07-18 12:25 Hi I have a problem installing the WebServiceToolkit (WST) version 0.61 in Lazarus 1.6. I have downloaded the WST and extracted it to directory (..\Lazarus\AddOns\) In Lazarus I select the menu Package -> Open Package and select the file: wst_design.lpk. When I click "Compile" in the dialog box I get this error message: object_serializer.pas(1192,3) Fatal: Syntax error, "(" expected but "identifier WRITERINFOMAP" found I have also tried to click Use>>Install in the dialog box but I get the same error message. Any help is welcome! Note: I have a clean Lazarus 1.6 with fpspreadsheet 1.6.2 installed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Phil · 2016-07-18 12:28 Quote from: MichaelBM on July 18, 2016, 02:25:09 pmI have a problem installing the WebServiceToolkit (WST) version 0.61 in Lazarus 1.6. Use WST from code repository: svn co https://svn.code.sf.net/p/lazarus-ccr/svn/wst/trunk . ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MichaelBM · 2016-07-18 12:36 Hi  I will download from trunk and test. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wp · 2016-07-18 13:04 I can confirm that the current version in lazarus-ccr (see link a few posts above) does compile, but only after adding "generatorbase" to the uses list of unit wstimportdlg (implementation part). After installation of wst_design the Project menu of the IDE contains a new submenu "Web Services Toolkit". ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MichaelBM · 2016-07-18 13:39 Thanks to both of you! Download of the latest version and adding "generatorbase" to the uses section did the trick  Now I don't have excuses for drinking coffee and playing games.
