Protection by multithread using SendMessage in lNet component

Do you know: Is in lNet component (TCP connection) pretection by using
SendMessage in multithread application? Or I should use Critical
Section every time when I use SendMessage?

I was looking in http://wiki.freepascal.org/lNet documentation but I
cant find this.

If it's not mentioned in the documentation, then never assume any
thread safety. Indeed the source code agrees with that, you can easily
inspect that SendMessage simply wraps Send which itself is not
protected whatsoever.

On https://lnet.wordpress.com/, it says that

multithreaded version
and now use exclusively LCL features to work.

So I guess it is not multithreaded, AFAIK.
