How to get the text content of a "textarea" box within fcl-web

Hi,

I wonder how to get the text content of a "textarea" in a web page, in
the fcl-web framework.

Here is my html code for creating two "textarea" boxes (whose names
are respectively  "source" and "destination", and one button:

<form name="myform">
<td><textarea name="source" rows="10">Medusa è una creatura
mostruosa.</textarea><br><br></td>
<td><textarea name="destination" rows="10"></textarea><br><br></td>
<input type="button" value="Translate" onClick="translate();"></p>
</form>

Typically, i want to get the content of the "source" box with some
fcl-web instruction (and then after translation, post the translated
content to the "destination" textarea).

I know how to get the full html text of the page, but I didn't succeed
in getting the "textaresa" content.

Since your form does not specify a TYPE, the default (GET) is used. In
this case, just read ARequest.QueryFields.
