FTP - how to delete file

I'm programming a little in freepascal (not in delphi). There are some
libraries enabling ftp protocol. I saw there procedures for up- and
downloading files. But I need to write a programm that will also
delete files from ftp server. Which library gives me this possibility?
Some piece of code?

You can delete using any protocol, it's the server side that decides
what to do with the given request. These days, deletion of something
in the server side is usually done by POST through specific URI (e.g.:
/data/delete?id=123) instead of DELETE request, but again it's up to
you to implement this.
