Is there some library that has something like the Code:
[Select]java.net.HttpURLConnection class. If it helps any, I am
specifically looking for a method like Code: [Select]getHeaderField().
I am working on a little XMLRPC implementation for Freepascal, and
something like this would aid me well.

Open fpc/source/packages/fcl-web, that's where web protocol classes
are implemented.
