Synpase should work on WinCE. What was the problem? http://synapse.ararat.cz/doku.php/download ---------------------------------------------------------------------- swierzbicki · 2013-07-09 20:24 Hello Theo, Sorry for answering so late.... I did test the synapse visual library and did get a lot of compiling errors with my wince project. I was finally able to compile the synapse library (removed the visual packages). Is there any example available for synapse ? I want to develop a simple chat client/server application : client is developped on wince with lazarus and synapse (or lnet) server is developped on w32 with delphi and indy BR ---------------------------------------------------------------------- snorkel · 2013-07-09 21:20 take a look at the Synpase Echo server example it's a good base to start a chat server with and it shows how to use multiple threads per connection. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- theo · 2013-07-10 09:34 The stable release has a demos folder http://synapse.ararat.cz/doku.php/download ---------------------------------------------------------------------- swierzbicki · 2013-07-11 13:29 Thank you for the link and I found a lot of valuable documentation. It looks like my client TCP socket should bet created into a Thread. Do you have perhaps any working example ? (I did look at the echo demo but get somehow "lost") Thank you ---------------------------------------------------------------------- swierzbicki · 2013-07-24 18:35 I found a nice library : nxNetwork which is part of the nxpascal 3D Game engine ( https://code.google.com/p/nxpascal/ ). The nxNetwork heavily depends on Synapse. A big thank to ]"]>Blocked for his valuable help !!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sin_dragan · 2013-08-04 17:24 Hi, what libryary did you choose? I m also developing network applications for WinCE, my background knowledge is Indy, but I can't compile for WinCe, so I plan to use LNet, currently testing and works great. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BigChimp · 2013-08-04 17:48 Quote from: swierzbicki on July 24, 2013, 08:35:04 pmI found a nice library : nxNetwork which is part of the nxpascal 3D Game engine ( https://code.google.com/p/nxpascal/ ).
