Maybe use parts of fpc 2.7.1 (unstable) to get app working? lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Collier · 2013-04-22 21:20 Hi, I'm using Lazarus 1.0.6, FPC 2.6.2 and get bug in bug tracker http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=22260 fixed in FPC 2.7.1 (which is unstable). I was wondering what other developers do in these circumstances... I guess could download FPC 2.7.1 and risk introducing other bugs to my existing application(s).. Maybe it would be better if I downloaded and installed any files modified to fix this particular bug (if that is possible)? Please advise, thanks... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2013-04-23 06:51 Use the fixes branch instead of trunk, that's 2.6.2 + bugfix only, no other bug should occur as no other feature is added ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BigChimp · 2013-04-23 07:36 @leledumbo: of course that only works if the fix is backported from trunk to fixes 2.6. No idea if that is the case here... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marcov · 2013-04-23 15:30 Quote from: BigChimp on April 23, 2013, 09:36:04 am@leledumbo: of course that only works if the fix is backported from trunk to fixes 2.6.
